I can not believe how fast time flies when you have a child! Everyone always told me that everything would go by quickly but I did not understand until Tripp was born. My nephew, who I vividly remember holding when he was only days old, is already walking and almost a year old and our own son is 7 months old! Crazy! I am trying to soak it all in and am getting very excited about his first Christmas. I can not help but get overwhelmed when I think about Christmas now and what it means that God knowingly sent his son to be born just so he could die for us and our sin. I think about how much I love Tripp, and that I could not possibly let him die for people who love us, let alone for people who are my enemies. God's love for us is so great, and through having our own son, I have been able to comprehend it just a tiny bit more.

7 months old!
I can not believe how fast time flies when you have a child! Everyone always told me that everything would go by quickly but I did not understand until Tripp was born. I LOVE this picture!
That is so true! I used to not be able to sing "How Deep the Father's Love for Us" to Ty without crying. (I still sometimes get choked up!) :) It's amazing what children teach us about God!
