First Snow!

This morning, while we were sad that James and Steph had to leave, the morning was not a complete bust because we had our first snow! It was not much at all and is already all melted now, at least it was something. And also while we were sad to see them leave, we get to look forward to this weekend when Nelson's brother will be here visiting us!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We have had a great thanksgiving break so far! James and Steph got in on Wed night and yesterday we had a delicious thanksgiving meal. We have also enjoyed having Molly, James and Steph's dog, stay with us. She is great, very well behaved and just fun to have around. We are going to do some more hanging out today and possibly even some shopping! Hope everyone is having a great thanksgiving time as well!

Happy Birthday Nelson!

Today is Nelson's birthday and a birthday means presents! I have tried to convince Nelson that he needed to open his presents before his birthday but that was to no avail. So this afternoon we had a great present opening time! Here he is with some of his gifties!

Last Sunday night we had our small group over for a pre-thanksgiving thanksgiving meal. It was great fun to be together, fellowship, enjoy excellent food, and play some games. Here are some pics of the table and the delicious food!

Design on a Dime for our bedroom!

I have been wanting to re-do our bedroom for a long time. We originally were thinking about getting new furniture but after pricing that out, we decided that would not be the way to go. So on to plan B. I decided to use my sewing skills to re-do some things in our room. And thanks to my sister-in-law Steph's creative brain, I got a great idea for our headboard (it was all Steph's idea, I had nothing to do with it except the execution of it. and even that I had to send her some pictures along the way for advice). and it all went from there. So here is our before and after bedroom!

Another Clothing Give-away from a Client

I made the mistake of telling the same client who gave me the awesome faux-suede jacket from earlier that I am pregnant. She unfortunately told me that she had some more clothes for me since I was going to need some more now. So here they are-

Just Practicing

To say that I am just a little bit excited about this upcoming May is an understatement. In all of my excitement, I just can not help practicing with our new stroller (my mom and I got a great deal on it yesterday, so even though we won't need it for about 6 more months, it was too good of a deal to pass up).
