So on a friend's blog I was challenged to think of some ways to serve and show my appreciation for my husband. I thought and I thought and today I thought of just the thing to show him my love and devotion. And what is that thing you might ask? Bacon! Yes, the food. See, Nelson loves bacon, and I do not like it so much. The smell, the grease, etc, it is just not my favorite. So tonight I made a pasta dish that included a lot of bacon. After Nelson's first bite he exclaimed "Yumb" (yes pronounce the b, that is how he says it). So Nelson, I hope your bacon dinner let's you know how much I appreciate you :) and maybe I will work on a more serious way of showing you.

Husband Appreciation

Nelson is a man after my own heart. And you're a great wife for knowing the quickest way to his heart - salty, greasy meat in his stomach.
That's great! I fully confess that I don't tend to look for recipes that have ingredients that Derek likes but I don't....but he loves it on the very rare occasions that I do. =) Okay, I'm going to work a lot more red meat into my menu for next week. I'll be sure and tell Derek that you were my inspiration!
