Flooding in the Lou!

It rained and rained here in the Lou last night and this morning. It really was a torrential down pour. My grandfather said, according to his rain gauge, that it was over four inches in a not very long period of time. So lots of areas were flooded. This morning on our way to church, we had to take a bunch of different routes to get past where the road was closed due to flooding. We saw lots of stranded vehicles and hit a few spots that were getting pretty full of water (one area we drove through this morning is now closed off because it is too flooded). On our way back, we saw this poor car. Thankfully no one was in it but it really stinks for whoever owned it!
