something else to look forward to
this morning I was visiting a client. She was asking where I am planning on delivering the baby and I told her the hospital. She was very excited, not because it is a great hospital to have babies in, but because they apparently have such delicious food. and not only that, but she happened to have a copy of the menu right there in her kitchen that she was getting ready to throw out. thankfully (according to her) she hadn't thrown it out yet and gave it to me "so that you can read it over and show it to your husband and then you will really have something to look forward to that day when your baby is born." good thing she had that menu because I don't think I was looking forward to the day enough and now I am! Don't worry- I already showed Nelson the menu tonight while we were eating our own dinner and we picked out a few things that we want to make sure we order. Until then, we will just enjoy our seemingly boring dinners here at home while our taste buds long for the day when our little guy is born and we can enjoy some apparently awesome hospital food.

Wow--I sure I wish I were delivering down there! I bet the meals are almost as good as what they serve on airplanes!
Will we save menus when we are older too???? But, she's right, they do have pretty good food. Make sure you try the fruit smoothie at breakfast. . .very yummy! And order all you can and you should have enough for the both of you!
