wanted: a lesson in swaddling
you know you are not good at swaddling when you find your child like this after his nap:

This is hilarious! Graham had magician arms and was able to squirm out of even the hospital swaddle...so annoying!
John and I can relate! Baby John always broke out of his swaddle when I did it. John had more success and eventually we gave up! I bought the special swaddling blankets and they were less effective than our big square blankets. Anyway, some babies like it and others don't. It's handy to help them sleep a little longer, but that will get easier for him as he grows. Loved the pictures your friend took. Can't believe Tripp is 4 weeks old!

Ha ha! This picture is so cute! We've already given up on swaddling, and we're two weeks behind you. I think I am totally incompetant because Lizzie looked like that at the hospital (and the nurses would come in and look at us funny and redo it in a flash). Kudos to you for trying harder than me!=)
my aunt taught me how to swaddle when my cousin Elisi was a baby, it took a while to figure out and she often ended up looking a lot like that :)can't wait to see y'all and meet Tripp!
