We went to our first Cardinal's game of the year tonight. It was fantastic and the Cards did really well. It was a little freezing so we left a few innings early because Nelson was wearing flip flops and his toes were so cold. And for some reason he did not like my suggestion of letting him borrow my socks to wear on his feet under his flips. I am not sure why he didn't like that idea :) We had some great baseball food (hot dog, pretzel, soda) and then ran out of money but that was ok, it was worth it! We got to watch the hat dance, see a home run but we didn't make it on the kiss cam. I really really want to. I am thinking about bringing a sign next time that says nothing about baseball but instead "Please put us on the Kiss Cam" that would be great! Well, it was a great night and great to not think about house things (although we did drive by later on and saw they did get the roof on today!!!)!

I've noticed that Nelson and I have a common taste in footwear. I used to wear flipflops until it snowed, but back when we were dating and would go on walks, I'd have to turn us back early because my toes were turning white. Now Derek makes me wear shoes more often. We're going to a cards game in a couple weeks, and I will certainly be wearing flip flops there!
